Papalote: The Game

Papalote: The Game is based on my dad’s restaurants in San Francisco, also named Papalote. The name ‘Papalote’ is a word for ‘kite’ in Spanish, resulting in this piece becoming a kite flying experience in honor of the restaurants. The simulator is controlled by a Wii nunchuck, connected to my computer through an Arduino. The nunchuck detects gyroscopic movements, allowing the users to tilt the kite at an angle while controlling the kite’s position and type with the joystick and buttons respectively.
